JOB VACANCY – FIRE & SECURITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER

 

SERVICING/MAINTENANCE WORKS – Extensive knowledge and experience is required in relation to servicing, maintenance and commissioning of electronic security systems: Including CCTV (analogue & IP), Access control/door entry (networked Paxton, TDSI Including IP), Fire alarms (analogue & addressable), monitored intruder alarm systems (including Dualcom/Redcare). Preferably the candidate will also have electrical installation background with regards to electrical maintenance repairs.

You must have previous Health & Safety awareness training including: JIB or Construction Skills CSCS card holder, IPAF Licence/cardholder, PASMA scaffold tower trained and be aware of the health & safety at work act, including on site awareness of method statements and risk assessments.

You must have excellent customer liaison skills and be available to meet with our customers point of contact whilst on site.

You will be required to service, maintain and repair to the current NSI quality standards

ROUTINE SERVICE INSPECTIONS – including service & maintenance visits and corrective remedial repairs.

HOURS OF WORK: 40 HOURS PER WEEK (Core Hours 8am – 16.30pm)
CALL OUT: 1 week in 4 – Including responding to call outs within the required time scale and meeting customers requirements, attending breakdowns and resolving faults as required

HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT: 25 DAYS + bank holidays

COMPANY VEHICLE: A VAN WILL BE PROVIDED AS PART OF YOUR JOB

MOBILE PHONE: A MOBILE PHONE WILL BE PROVIDED AS PART OF YOUR JOB

WORK BASE: STOKE ON TRENT – TRAVELLING REQUIRED TO SITE

EXCELLENT SALARY: £26k – £29k – DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

OVERTIME: OVERTIME AND STANDBY RETAINER PAID IN ADDITION TO BASIC SALARY
